Five Star Review
I'm not much of a fan of romcoms but this had a really good back story and a unique hook.
Fabulous writing that simmers on the page and an intriguing plot with a mystery that had me hooked .
Both characters were flawed enough to be interesting and engaging. I loved the Oh No will they or not moments and the mixed messages that arose between them. The predicament Lachlan found himself in was intriguing and I so wanted him to wake up to his best friend's real motives. The spirit of independence shown by Bethan and her love for her son was beautifully written.
Bethan makes a great modern day hero and I fell a little in love with Lachlan. I desperately wanted them to work out and live happily ever after.
A really great romance for grown ups and a perfect Valentine read.
